平衡人際能力指數是善用自己的強項去改進弱點的能力 (個人層面);及善於平衡各組員的強弱項,令組員可互相扶持、互相依靠的協作能力 (群體層面) 。每個人都具有不同的特質、優點與弱點,尤如處身於「平衡板」上,不但要能夠平衡自己,找出平衡點,而且要配合其他在板上的隊員維持平衡。

What is Balanced Quotient (BQ)?

Balanced Quotient is defined as the level of capabilities to balance off oneself’s weaknesses by their own strengths (individual level); and the level of interdependence to unite well with others by balancing strengths and weaknesses within the team (group level). People having different characteristics, strengths and weaknesses are like keeping their own individuality on a balance, while they have to operate in coordination with other members keeping all well on the same balance.





What is BALANCED Intelligence™ Games (BIG)?

With an aim of ensuring a balanced development of intelligence for children and youths, BALANCED Intelligence™ has been running pioneering development projects since 2003. Through structured activities and guided environment, professional trainers are dedicated to develop a balanced set of people skills for our younger generation through multiple team activities. With proved achievements in developing participants with social and team competence, counseling and consultancy services have been extended to parents and schools holistically. Participants will learn social skills, manage emotions, and enhance communication, creativity and analytical skills. The mission is to promote social and team competence so as to elevate their levels of capabilities, independence and interdependence.



How to develop balanced intelligence?

How to develop multiple and balanced intelligence of children? Structured games are designed to train up children’s social competence, creativity and high-order thinking through multiple activities, children will naturally become a happy and independent individual

Play interactive games co-operatively together with different kids so as to develop social competence.

Adapt themselves to different structured games so as to practise problem solving.
Rotate to lead familiar games so as to develop leadership
React appropriately with eye, ear, mouth, hand so as to stimulate co-ordination.
Present and Perform in front of a group regularly so as to build up confidence.

Build up senses of telling right or wrong during playing together so as to learn how to do better and reflection.

我們的培訓方法是在引導的環境下(Guided Environment)、與不同的孩子學習齊齊玩 (Mix and Match) 具學習重點的互動遊戲 (Structured Games) ,讓孩子體會與人相處的樂趣和技巧。

Our training approach is to provide a guided environment for different children to play structured games together, children can experience socializing techniques while enjoy playing.

When to develop balancedintelligence/balanced competence?

Developing a balanced set of people skills is behavioural learning, potential is at an optimum level when a child is very young. Learn early, practise early and then achieve early. Just like learning swimming, music and cycling, learnt at a young age, the skills become natural basic instincts.

Children reaching aged 3 will increase their social needs. They need to play games with their age group regularly so as to fulfill their affection needs. They have to get familiar with socializing at groups at young, or they may not have the initiatives to join group activities when they grow up. Many cases indicate that it might be too late when parents discover the anti-social behaviours, the children can choose to join group activities at their own discretion, even though their parents arrange for them.
